Q: When will we be able to see our pictures?
A: About 10 days after your session we will meet at my studio to view the photographs. At that time you will receive your cd of 4x6 images and can order any prints or speciality items.   Weddings will take approximately three weeks.

Q: Do you shoot digital or film, and what type of equipment do you use? Can digital still make large prints?
A: I only shoot in digital format using Canon professional equipment. I feel that there are many technical advantages to digital over film in the way I use it, and I love the control I have over the output quality of my images. I typically print wallet to poster sized prints from my digital images. I have no qualms about the quality or detail I get from my images. Please contact me with any questions or any special print requests.

Q: What is Shutterfly?
A: Shutterfly is an on-line photography store specializing in high quality prints for a low cost.  I recommend www.shutterfly.com due to the easy viewing and ordering offered for my clients and their families. Shutterfly offers clients an easy way of getting great 4x6 prints from their cds.  I have also found that clients enjoy this option, especially for sharing photos with out of town guests and relatives.

Q: What if I decide I want some photographic effects on my photographs after receiving my cd?
A: When viewing the photographs clients can decide what photos they would like to use for photographic effects (sepia, color added into black and white, and pastel). After receiving the cd a client can also contact me with the numbers of the photos and the effect desired and for a small additional charge I will burn a new cd of these adjusted photographs.

Q: Do you travel outside of the Nashville area for wedding coverage, and are you available for destination weddings?
A: I am available to travel outside of my local area, state, and even out of the country for destination weddings. Travel costs are based on your location, so please contact me and I will be happy to give you a customized quote.

Q: What if I want an item that is not included on your pricing page?
A: If you don't see an item on my pricing page that you'd like to include, please don't hesitate to call 615-500-0587 or email me.

Q: Do we make payments or pay the full amount at contract signing? What types of payment do you accept?
A: You can certainly pay the full coverage fee at the time you return a signed contract / release. However, I only require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold a wedding, large family session or event date. The remainder is due two weeks prior to the wedding and on the day of the large family session or other event. The deposit and remainder are non-refundable and non-transferable once paid.

I accept visa, mastercard, cash, personal checks, cashier's checks and money orders.

Q: Do we have to pay for our high resolution digital files? And, what does it mean when your contract states that you retain the copyrights to the images?
A: Your family cd includes high resolution digital photographs at a 4x6 size and is yours to keep and will be available to you 10 days after the photo session. (A cd of the full high resolution files is avaliable for purchase (please refer to the services page for pricing)

Your cd of high resolution photos comes with limited term use release, which allows you to make reprints to share with friends and family; however I do retain the copyrights to all of the images captured. This means that according to United States copyright law, all images taken by a professional photographer are copyrighted by that photographer and the photographer owns all rights to them. {17 USC 106.} Since we hold the copyrights to all images captured, you will not be allowed to use the images for any reason other than private personal use.

Q: Do you book events on major holidays?
A: I am happy to book events on major holidays, but the price will vary, so please call for further details.

Q: Do you book more than one event or wedding a day?
A: No. I only book one event or wedding a day so I am completely focused on creating lasting memories of your special day.
